Interesting you brought this up. We've been discussing the influence of game and TV violence on children in Psychology. To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with this game. It's just another thriller. I remember playing a game on the PS1 which involved a murdering doll who would throw knives at you and such. Yet they didn't ban that. If they do ban this, I'll be truly annoyed.

It won't be banned. This is just a case of some powermonger sounding off about something he has no real knowledge of, and then making a fool out of himself. The media, and tatty newspapers in particular are the main cause of all this nonsense. They create a circus and hype it up, so they have something to inaccurately report on in their tired old rags. |

So now our games need to be politically correct as well as all TV, Radio and newspapers! And banning games like this still won't stop murder. People will still kill other people. If the game contains dangerous subliminal messages, then yeah, maybe i'd be 50/50 on it. But banning violent games is not the thing to do, doesn't violence happen in real life? Or are all these wars and killings just fairytales? For some/a lot of people, games are a way to escape, somewhere to go and do things they can't or wouldn't do in real life. The debate about violence in games and their effects will never end.
