No it's not, which makes me wonder why all the delays. Of course, a trailer like that doesn't show what the actual gameplay is like.

Not mind blowing? WTF are you all talking about?! It's one of the best videos to date. Some people just expect way too much.

I'd rather the design team got busier on the actual game than making all of the pretty vids!

Wink

First of all there are major games appearing this year !!! FarCry was launched before HL2 when everyone was especting HL2 rather than an unknown game from an unknown publisher. From what I have seen I think ppl will play other games much more that UT 2007. If they don't come up with something inovative only the UT fans will praise it. UT 2004 was fun but nothing spectacular. I was playing with Raphael and Abdul the other day TC Vegas over the net and I have to say that it's great ! Either DM or hunting it'll make adrenaline rush in seconds from start. SC Double Agent has a single player that surprized me in a very good way. And these are games that are already there for you to get. I am waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Crysis which may also put UT in shadows. I hope I may be wrong and we all see UT series in a new improved feeling way rather than some visual enhancing things !

Well yeah, tbh, they are way behind (apparently it's gonna be an october 30th as one possible release date). But i like the fact they are keeping in touch with their fanbase. But it looks good enough, can they just get on and get it done. It's taking too long. I'm losing interest.

That's exactly the problem, (also as chrisbard says). If they keep waiting to make something "better" than the current "best" FPS' are, UT runs the risk of becoming irrelevant. The more they push back a release date, the more new games will come out to equal or beat whatever UT'07 might have been.

Sometimes, it's better just to throw yer cards on the table and see what happens.

They'd better hope they'll keep a reasonably good fan base, and be able to get new ppl interested as well.

Long waits will be the norm for all new top games which make good use of current hardware. The amount of work and testing required keeps growing with new generations of hardware.

I'd sooner see a game delivered late, but fully working, than on time and full of bugs.

What the hell? Bard making Sense

UT has always been a Techdemo for UE to me, and lan fodder. UE3 looks great, but I have no interest in UT3.
