Bioshock demo available for download

Pitch has been kind enough to upload the Bioshock demo for us, so all of you that haven't been able to get it elsewhere can now download it from AOA.

What a dumb ass thing to do, especially now when games are raising the bar everywhere you look! Is this going to be a hard thing for them to put right?

There's an official statement today about this at The Cult of Rapture. Apparently, the widescreen aspect ratio was the 'correct' one by the original design. The top and bottom of the screen was simply extended for other people.

Either way, I'm having a blast with this game. I haven't been bothered by the aspect ratio one bit.

This game looks so intricated and detailed. I can't wait to see what interactions there is in the game.

Currently, it only supports XP or Vista.

Thanks Pitch. It finally came to me how to express how I feel about this:
It's like your a cowman and you buy a really good work dog, you train it, buy all sorts of stuff to improve it's effectiveness... then the man that sold you your dog has a new dog he wants to sell you, so he poisons your dog...

All downloaded after 6 hours. It doesn't have a zipped up exe, instead there is a set up file exe.
I guess thats how you install it.

Except, you're a shepard and your dog is lovely and normally you love it but he is old and his eyesight is not what it used to be and his barking is not as loud as it used to be. The new dog you can buy is smarter faster has sharp eyes and even you feel the hair raising when he barks. Of course the new dog wants a little better food and if you agree then he'll satisfy your needs. Unless you want to play Far Cry and Mario forever !
