Concerning admin rights...

It was suggested (and that party will remain anonymous), that we remove the admin password for members.

I will try it for a while. Now that we have map vote and UT Pure running, everything should run itself anyway. No one's at fault (there's currently 4 of us with the password). Some have complained about the "fun" we have, and unknown to us this isn't fun for all members, so in fairness to the pure UT players among us (who care little about spawning creatures or others toys) I think setting up and voting would be the best course for action. Should there be a need in the future to have members with passwords, I will reinstate them.

If you want anything added in particular just post it here and I will setup the server before that game time with the preferences.

I don't think anyone will have any problem with that Pinky. Everyone just wants to have fun I'm sure . . .

It doesn't matter, it isn't really an issue. Like Jeff said, it's about having fun that's all, some people's fun was being impacted so we'll just set things on autopilot.

No problems but a few simple things. Is there a way to boot nonactive players? I mean like if someone accidently left themselves logged in, that would make one team down a person. And is there a possible way to vote for gametype? Like regular and instgib.

How about you set up one of them remote admin control thingies... Like 1 person will connect to the same IP, but different port, and have power to change map, boot people and stuff. That way no in-game cheating can be performed, and we'll still be able to control the server...

My bad Lionfish

Sorry bud, I was waiting for all the add-ons and such to load(56K) and fell asleep in the process. :-D

Man, 56K sucks for this. It's way too jerky and stuff, as if it wasn't hard enough to hit stuff with that funky gun

I used to love instagib with 56k, but now I much rather have regular guns. (with relics everynow and then)

Actually what is that level that's all indoor, and we had a 4 on 4 instagib CTF match in? That level is actually better intsa-gib, IMO. But levels like facing world and hall of giants are better just regular style.

Think I can play with the timeout feature as well... but the vote idea is better so long as that doesn't get abused.

Since most of the players are on the clan, I highly doubt it will be abused. You need a majority vote to boot also.
