Wii prices rocket
Amazon have no Wii in stock.
Check these prices out.

Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: Nintendo Wii Console (Includes Wii Sports)

Some sellers are asking more for a Wii than a PS3 and the chepeast seller is charging only £20 less for the Wii than a PS3. Unbelievable.

Can I just ask those of you in the US a question?
Would you be shocked if you saw a Wii up for sale at $750?

It's good value at $250, but $500+ is way over the odds for a basic console.

They've been on sale for a year, yet people are now panic buying them.

It amazes me how many people wait to buy something thinking that it will drop in price due to Christmas. It is better to get one in June where there are plenty around and the shops are empty.

Back in days of old, I worked in a shop which sold home computers and consoles. Some customers would come in a reserve the console they want for Christmas 2 or 3 months before hand. They would pay a deposit, and we would keep their box behind the counter, with their name on it. Then they could come in just before Christmas and pick it up. So easy!
