Looks like they tried to copy WoW's type of seamless gameplay and did a really bad job of it.

WoW is seamless in that it only has to load new data when you go to a new continent or an instance and the amount of data there is loaded at one time is hugh and Blizzard managed to find a way to load each part as required without adding "Please wait...." screens.

Has been working fine for me the last day or so. Have been playing multiplayer without issues as well, which is good fun. Weird that it would go tits-up then work just fine.

I've only had one instance of freeze up since I started playing it, hung while trying to load a saved game. Other than that it's been smooth.

I haven't tried it yet. I have too much fun just walking around the city cranking people with a bat and watching them drop their groceries.

Was walking near the amusement park and all of a sudden a yellow cab ran over two people (NPCs). Then... for whatever reason, these two people that were hit by the yellow cab started fighting eachother. So I stole the cab, and once the driver was out, beat him up, and got into it with all 3 of them. But its an interesting occurance... you're walking along side a stranger across the road, when all of a sudden a cab hits you both. When you get up, instead of hitting the cabbie or anything, you start beating the crap out of the guy that got run over beside you, ignoring the cab completely. I can only imagine when they were run over, the two people landed on eachother, and that contact triggered the game to make them fight? =\

I think it's the little unexpected things, and the vague illusion of it being a real city, which gives the game appeal. |
