If you're a fan of Project Soul, or indeed any fighting games, might I suggest Soul Calibur IV?

That or Metal Gear Solid 4.

Or just don't buy anything and wait for Little Big Planet!

Can you get your hands on NCAA 2009?

I'm not sure how much you guys like football, but its a fun game and the online functions for PS3 provide tons of people.

Either that or wait for Madden 09'.


Soul Caliber IV is great - thats my next buy.

Ah... gridiron... the game where the players are so soft that they have to wear body armor and helmets...

Soul Calibur 4 sounds good, but i've been told the controls are alot more basic and limited than Tekken 5, is this true?

Technically, yes. Some of the simpler moves are very easy to pull off, as opposed to Tekken. I guess this is to accomodate new players.

However, the better and more effective combos are a lot harder to do. I guess it's just a matter of whether you've played Soul Calibur games before. =)

As said, some of the more basic moves and combo's are quite easy - which was nice as a new player. However the lengthy combos and specials definitely require a certain degree of playing time and (skill).
