| Sony's still in denial. The reality is that, while they may have the superior hardware platform, they are getting their butt kicked in the marketplace. Don't get me wrong; I really like my PS3. But when you see the numbers of units being sold and the PS3 is not just 3rd, but a DISTANT 3rd in a 3 horse race, you've got to wonder what they are thinking. |

| Sony's definition of longevity = drip feeding games. If GT5 had been released in say November 2008, they could have sold more units. | Here's what concerns me a bit....when is PS4 due out, will they play the same backward compatible game with chip and/or software rendering? Will it make obsolete my current PS3 games? Because from where I sit the PS3 has a life of approximately one year or much less...Number two went out in 6 weeks!!

| My guess is that the PS4 will just be a faster, beefed-up PS3. If so, it should be possible for it to run PS3 games without increasing manufacturing costs. I can't see Sony developing completely new hardware like the Cell, again. Way too expensive.

| Sony plans to focus on the PS3 for 10 years after it's launch. I don't think there's any attention being placed on the PS4. One has to wonder if they can afford another round...
