Companion photo for Steam to offer downloadable content. Great news?

Steam wants to be the place for buying and playing games on the PC, and the features the service offers are already impressive. Valve is about to add another layer to Steam however, with the addition of downloadable content. [Front page...]

Steam has always been great to me. I've read a lot of bad comments about steam and its supporting games, but I have 5 computers with steam at home and they always run great.
I even use the scrds update tool and dedicated server in Linux.
I love how steam promotes all the PC games while all the other website are promoting Playstation and Xbox.
