I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!

The day that linucs will support most of hardware accelerated games it's the day I am gonna do a massive review WINDOWS vs LINUX gaming performance! And if Linucs can stand a chance I will reconsider

about time, You'd think if it can run on Mac it can run on Linux cause they are both Unix driver right?

Yeah, OS X is more or less based on Unix.
Also, there is this:

Isn't Direct X the main issue with games and operating systems?
If Direct X complied their program for Linux then would games actually run great?
I have read some articles on Wine... how it emulates Direct X with opensource code (I think) but most Windows games require it....

Direct X belongs to Microsoft, so they're not likely to release it for Linux.

But, there are alternatives which game devs can and do use, such as OpenGL.
