It's good that MS recanted on this. I would say something snarky about Sony being better than MS, but the truth is that if Sony had thought they could get away with it, they'd have tried it too.....at least MS haven't put root-kits on their CDs.....

Like most everyone else I live for the day that MS and Sony merge into one big happy family! ":O}

Wasn't it Bill who once predicted that people would give away the hardware for free so we would buy the software that runs on it?

Not his fault who could for see that people like Bill would start making Hardware?

And what a fine piece of hardware this is. It can play fabulous games that the latest hardware with the wrong OS can't!

So your saying that Your NEW Xbox WILL (someday) run games Win 8 and your old Xbox can't? But we will have to wait to see which games those are....?

I know you adored Crysis 3, but other than FarCry 3, completely playable on PS3 , Xbox and Win XP what else am I missing out on?

As far as I'm concerned it's only "the wrong OS" if it can't do what you want it to...or you can't learn to install it.

I don't have either problem...

Someday you will learn to install Linux and then you will be able to put your envy of my Mint 15 aside and live in the light....I just know you will! ":O}

OH! OH! Chris ! You have friends here at AOA, find the one who lives nearest to you and send them a hard drive and ask them to install Mint 15 for you! then you can tell people you use Linux and they will like you.

Now your just being cruel!

"Pity the OS that can't de-frag it's hard drive.

Pity the OS that needs to."

NOw picture a Hard drive forever perfect, untouched by fragmentation thought out all of time, serene ... Envision now a hard drive blessed to boot Linux and never show a flaw

OK So a fragmented windows hard drive is more fun, but cruel of you to force my confession!

(Got any more dirty little Drive pictures?)

So what is so great about the crapboxone? It was under clocked due to over heating.. Can someone say RROD again lol..

So many other things that make this thing a bad purchase it isn't even funny..
The reversal on the drm is to get you buy it.. Then i bet a year later they will have it all back on there, after sneaking it in slowly with in that year..

I would never purchase a gaoming console from ms.. Due to poor engineering and care free attitudes towards customers..

Yes it was him who said that, but he said it for the sake of windows os..
Not their console.. He hated the console division but it made him money..
Be prepaired for the windows os to be free here in a few years..
