Question ScreenShots ??????????

I'm looking for a program that will take screenshots while I'm gamming and save them as .jpg or .gif without stopping to rename eachone and free if possable. Anyone got any good ones thay want to give up? Windows Print Screen really bites.

Most screenshot buttons just capture to a .bmp file. It would probably be easier to find a .bmp to jpeg converter then a jpg capturer.

What I am looking for is a good capture prog. that will do muitable shots during gamming and save to somewhere other than the clipboard. I got all kinds of converters. I just don't like the clipboard thing, I don't even have it installed. Something to do with M$ and my dislike of Uncle Bill. I'm running just enough of Winsux98 to play games and do the internet

I think some games actually capture to a file rather than the clipboard. Its only if you use the actual print screen button that it captures to clipboard. Ofcourse I could be wrong.

Most 3D games have a screen shot command within the engine console that will take a screen shot and save it as a bit map in the game directory. The trick is to write and load a simple script that binds it to the key of your choice on the keyboard.
