this game installs at 2.4 gig. It is massive. But more than worth the HD space. Also had to add another 256 of mem to smooth it out a bit. Loads up huge also.

Anyone picked this up yet?

I am suprised more people are not jumping on this. This is by far the most advanced game ever. The map detail is insane. There is a folder that has benchmark batch files that include flybys. These are amazing to watch....

I haven't taken a good look around yet, so many maps and modes it will keep me busy for quite a while.

I just downloaded the linux demo for this and...

well

my hands are still shaking. I've just spent 10 minutes staring at the game screen slack-jawed and drooling. I'm expecting the police to turn up any second as I turned the sound (and sub) up to max... this is quite the most immersive game I've played in years!

I dunno what my frame rate is exactly, but it seems perfectly smooth at 1024x768 with all the detail turned up to max.

Somehow I've gotta find £30 to get this!

Yep, it is pretty darn good. Any one played it online yet? Whats it like?

I get slow down now and again, with the details turned up at 1024x768. maybe i need some more mem or summit.....

I have been online with it a few times. I don't think it a problem on your end unless you have a slow connection. I have grabbed a few slow servers and it stinks then.

Graphics is where this is at...

Still can't give it all the detail with a GF4 TI card. I need a faster processor to wind her up....hehe

I picked one up at the computer show for about that. Or you can try www.newegg.com

If you like, next time I goto the show I'll get ya one and ship it out to ya. (of course your going to have to pay me back :clown: )

Rob

**EDIT** now that I think about it with the new 2400 comming out I'm SURE the 1600 dropped a bit.
