Exclamation Need info

I need to know if pc100 can be used on a mother board designed for pc66, even if it runs at 66 I don't care about the speed. All I care about is the amount of ram since pc100 is cheaper than pc66.

Or maybe not. I just read on crucials website that 168pin DIMMs come in EDO, FPM, 66MHz SDRAM, PC100, & PC133 flavors. it says that you need to use whatevery your mobo is set up for.

I am not sure if it is true or not.
I know for a fact that you can use PC133 in place of PC100 with out any probs but am not sure about PC100 and 66MHz SDRAM.

Why not go to www.crucial.com and use there memory confugurator and see if it gives you PC100 as an option

I just checked crucials website and PC133 is the same price as PC100. So why not just get PC133. Then if you want you can always put in another sdram system later on.
