Exclamation Post Your Inte/amd O/c Results Here...

Hi every1
...im intrested in seeing how much people can overclock there AMD/Intel processors preferably on Air cooled...just to give me an idea of what i could be aiming for with my Athlon 2600+ when my mobo gets replaced...i managed to get my 2600+ up to 2405Mhz from 2013 running at about 52*C full load before my mobo blew up...thats using a 185MHz FSB and a 13x multiplier...a nice 392MHz o/c...note that i was only using 2100 memory so my memory wasnt in sync, im gonna upgrade in a few days hopefully so i can post my result then

400mhz is at the high end of the scale, you probably wont see a lot more of an improvement than that.

Welcome to AOA, Invalid!

Let's see. A C300A @450 Mhz. A C366 @550 Mertz. A PIIIE 550 @731.5(this little piggy had the nerve to go to silicon heaven. Rarely was I so insulted), a PIIIE 600 @799.
A Duron 950 @950 Mhz. An AMD Duron 850 @850 Mhz. A Duron 1.3 @you guessed it. An Athalathalon XP-1800+ @stock. I cool the AMD CPU's as if they are overclocked. Habitual.

It's been a while since pouring nitro into the tank. How do I live with the shame? Confession is good for the soul.

xp1600 (stock=1.4) AGOIA-Y @ 1.88GHz stable, 1.89 is ok but causes crashes when gaming - ok for folding, cooled by a thermaltake volcano 7 and a 120mm blowhole.

best and stable oc i ever done:

mobo: al440lx

celeron 700 bumped up to 840, using soft fsb. it claims the fsb is at 133, all the way from 66 hmm...

v. stable, been folding non-stop for about a week now.. with 2 short breaks, 1 on monday, one on thursday, both for gamin.. seems to work okay.

thats about it. i hope to get hold of a celeron 733 or higher, if its n a fsb of 66..

On Air:

C2 600@900Mhz
C2 900@1200Mhz

and the other listed into my Sig.

P.S. the P/// cC0 can handle higher Fsb, but the old Hd is the bottleneck!

piccoLEW - You are using a SLocket with the 440LX board, right? Trying to get my cel 400 to O/C on that board, can't adjust the FSB even though the settings are available in the BIOS. ANy ideas?

Athlon 1800+ @ stock, using ECS K75A going to try the newer BIOS my next day off.

T-Bird 1.333 now running @ 1.463 , AMD Heatsink w/parts bin fan, running hot ATM

Duron 1 ghz @ 1.33 ghz - FSB at 133

c400 @ STock

PII266 @ 300 mhz - no stretch here just bumped the multiplier as high as the antique board will go

P1 200 MMX @ 300 mhz - FSB @ 100, VCore @ 3.2 still testing for stability

that's all right now, though I still have some more P1 junk around here to play with.
