OCZ's memory

What is the story with this RAM ( and company ). Good, not good? I know there was some kind of trouble in the past with this company. Is it over? Does their stuff still have a "cloud" over it

How does this memory stand up to the competition, how does it perform. I'd like to hear from people with 1st hand experience.

Not trying to stir up anything here. Some people at my home forum have less than good things to say about OCZ, but I'm wondering if that is from a different time and a different scene. What about today?

Scott

Welcome to AOA, serlv!

This question was mooted before. I think that both thumbs-up's and "bad news" were posted about OCZ.

The ratings are a bit complex, it may be necessary to separate opinions about OCZ's Ram and the company's reputation as an etailer. Or maybe not.

Thanks for the welcome, cloasters.

Well, yeah, ok, I know their has been a mixed bag ( perhaps a lot of bad from the past ). Are they like the street hustler/hooker in the past, and now, years later, a model wife, mother and girl scout leader? More importantly, where does their memory stand now? How is it? Anybody here using it? Worth a look?
