Which drive would 'you' use for a boot drive? :)

Well, rebuilding a couple machines.. Currently use an IBM 120GXP 82gb drive for my boot drive in my main rig.. 2mb cache.. 7200 rpm yadda yadda yadda.. Well in one of my older boxes I have a Seagate Barracuda ATA IV ST380021A 80gb drive and a Western Digital WD1000BB 100gb drive.. The seagate is the quiet one everyone loved when it had come out.. Just wondering which one would make a better boot drive.. I'm going to be installing all my software and games on my 200gb Western Digital so capacity isn't an issue..

I know.. it's kind of an odd question to ask.. both are 7200 rpm and have 2mb cache..

I've always had kind of a soft spot for Seagate myself, although lately I've become a pretty big fan of Hitachi.

As far as which one you should boot from, I'm not sure it would make a nickel's worth of difference.

I didn't think so.. but I just wanted to check.. may just go with the seagate just cause it's quiet.. though the rest of my system isnt too quiet lol.. The new hitachi's actually look pretty sweet.. can't remember the particular model.. but it got really good ratings.. but was a high dollar drive.. and not too large =/
