No no no no no!!!

Ghost is just creating partitions upon itself!! I know, I tried. Yes the system works, but when data is written over itself, everything corrupts.

If it were true, the manufacturers would sell the disk at a higher price point.

As Spyder points out, it's just the result of corruption. Initally it'll work, but as you fill one partition up, it starts overwriting the other partition's contents. That's not a nice thing to discover.
