Question Opinions...

Any opinions on the performance of this RAM:
http://svc.com/pmi2700-1024dpl.html

i figure that my system will run more stable with slower RAM. my mobo was actually designed for ram of this speed. maybe i can even raise my OC. i will be running the divider at 1:1

does dual-channel paired ram work in single channel mobo's?

OCSystem has a very bad rating with www.resellerratings.com, but SVC looks good. It's a good idea to check an etailer's reputation before parting with the hard-earned. DIMMS that are matched for Dual-Channel work fine in Single-Channel mode.

Personally, I buy name-brand RAM, even if it's only Kingston brand, or even Buffalo.

i got my P4 computer from them back in last may. works fine. onlly reason i like them is that i have a 2-day shipping time from them.

but i am talking about the actual performance of the RAM.

... but it looks like i will go with the PMI anyway, i read a review saying it can go well above its rated memory speed
