Maxtor Noise

Do any of you have a problem with a maxtor drive being to noisy. I just bought a 160gb diamondmax and it makes all kinds of noise under load. I cant describe the sound and i dont have any problems with it and it hasnt failed me yet. Are Maxtors just noisy drives?

If you are used to IBM and Seatgates, Maxtors are a bit noiser... But with all the fans in my room, I never hear HDD noise.

EDIT: If it sounds like low grinding.... it is normal. If you hear clicking... that's bad.
