| I use a bit of everything, AMD, Intel, Via, and I have had a sparc system, but sold it.

| i would have to say that my preference is AMD all the way. however it is not to say that intel makes bad cpu's. they both have their ups and downs. as far as sheer power AMD wins. but for things like multitasking, intel is the winner. it's really a matter of preference. but for gaming AMD is the way to go!

| Oooh, yeah. I LOVE the 68K architecture. The 68040 would get my vote. All the features of the '030, better FP performance, and the bus interface was better so that it was easier to design with. I understand the Coldfire family is the 68k reborn. Anybody worked with them?
