I like both P4s and XPs. No exp. yet with the 64s or the Socket Ls, but I'm sure they rock too I'm just really impressed with my XPs that I've worked with.

XPs are still nice for the price, but I am loyal to Intel, but I do own a 2400XP, and a 1.3GHz t-bred.

i like my amd processor as there r easyer to move the gold pins back if u have a bent one!!!!! it's or most impossble to bend the pins back on a p4 i'v got a p4 3.2 and a AMD 3200XP (RUNS @2.2) the 3200xp starts up windowsxp befor the 3.2 and the p4 is 800fsb the amd is only 400fsb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had to be my p60 back in 95 as it gave me very little in the way of upgradability could have picked up a p66 :O or a damn pricey overdrive chip, not to mention it had all the flexability of a packard bell machine

it had 8Mb of ram soldered on to the mainboard and another 8Mb in the slots

still with a 4MB d3d mystique it owned! £215 when they first came out ;O lucky i didnt pay for the card
