| You should shoot for standard timings first. Odds are, though, that you mobo will stop you before you hit the limits of your RAM (I'm assuming your mobo runs PC100?). Welcome to the forums! Thanks for stoping by.

| Ah. Then yes, you can do that. Within fairly broad constraints, it is almost always possible to run your RAM at up to about 1/2 its rated speed without problems. Even then, you won't damage the RAM, but you may corrupt your data unless you pay special attention to your refresh timings.

| Thanks for the advice, but as I'm sure you guys knew my idea was a bust. I still hit system instability at the same point, wether my ram is running at 100 or 133. I guess there might be a benefit in that my RAM might be running a little cooler. The timings you mentioned, Gizmo, they would be the motherboard settings like row precharge, etc? By the way, great site! A big help.
