| First idea that comes to mind is to use "Black-out"curtains. Or curtains of any kind that get the job done. Then you can raise them or slide them aside...depending... when not in use.

| yeah a nice thick black out curtain will be better than any solid temporary divides should muffle the noie quite well as well due to the texture and shape |

| Do you own the house? If so, putting up a partition wall is quite an easy job. You can leave out the tricky part, i.e. the door. Just use a curtain accross an opening at one end.

| Mounted, celing or wall is most common. But you can build a square or whatever out of 1X2 lumber and stretch fabric over that.
