Trouble Seating SD Stick

Ive bought this SD stick of RAM for my Linux box. The notches in the stick are in right place, but it wont seat. I open clips on the board, push it in, the pins snap shut, then the RAM falls out. Are there two types of SD clip or something?

Keep in mind this board is old, and has EDO slots as well. Id say it was one of the first SD boards.
