ECC Memory and slower performance..

AFAIK, ECC Memory is about 5% slower than regular Unbuffered. I don't know if this means that everything is 5% slower. But I think that all operations have to go through Memory. Do I have this wrong?

Depends on what the computer is doing. Some things are more memory intensive than others.

Your gonna loose a bit of performance, but not really enough to make a difference if you are running greater than 2gb.
