Need memory recommendations...

My 512MB TwinMos PC5300 Speed Premium (BH-5) memory sticks WILL NOT run past their rated 217Mhz in my 9NDA3+. I may be able to go higher but I'm limited to 2.8Vdimm of the board and dont fancy any kind of volt-mods.

So I'm after some well priced TCCD memory that I can run 1:1. What have you seen, used and can recommed?

Well, I can't think of much personally, but if you look for the right article CustomPC did a fantastic memory feature in march.
Check them out at www.custompc.co.uk
It's a quality magazine, everyone on AOA should have it.

Since your located in the UK, check out the Adata Vitesta DDR600. It doesn't come in matched pairs, but does work well in the 9nda3+. Another one to look at is the GSkill LE. Both will work at 2.8vdimm. I'm using the 2x256 LE, and with my 3000+winnie have no trouble running stable at 300x8. Settings are 300x8, 1:1, HTT 3x, 2.5-4-3-7.

Before spending any money... have you tried relaxing timings?
While BH5's can run pretty tight, you may get a lot better top end running slower timings, like 2.5-3-3-8

SteveI, my memry timings are as pictured, running at 280HTT with the 133 memory divider. What do you think?

I'll look up the Custom PC article and the other memory mentioned. Thanks all.

Laz.

If you have to reduce memory to 133 to net 178mhz on memory, I have to be suspicious... BH5 should do 233 without much extra voltage... Do you have any other memory you could test with? how high can the memory go running synch with the FSB/HTT?

I've got to agree with SteveI as to that twinmoss. It should be able to do in the 230-235 range, 1:1, even though it is UTT based. If that's the best you can do with it, then it should be rma'd.

As to the Patriot xblk, don't know of any one using it on the 9nda3+. However, I know of tests run using the DFI LP nf3 & nf4 boards, as well as the MSi neo platinum nf4. On all 3 boards, it is capable of 290+ running 1:1. In fact, I'm thinking about picking up a gig myself to replace my GSkill LE 2x256.

hmmm...would it have anything to do with the fact that they are not a matched pair? I bought them both at the same time from the same place though.
I'll try each stick one at a time and see what each will do on its own.

SteveI, max OC @ 1:1 I can get is their rated 217Mhz! Anything over that and the PC reboots as soon as it gets to the desktop. The same occurs if I use the 166 memory divider and get the HTT to 270-275, then the memmory is running just out of spec.

I'm currently running at 305HTT (x7 multi) with the memory at about 190, using the 133 memory divider.
