( Everyone edges slowly toward the door, one nervous shaking voice whispers in a frighten snarl,

"That's Black Bart's girl!")

Why yes, Aedan has such a pet.

The most hypo dogs in Australia would be either a Kelpie or a Border Collie. My dog is a Kelpie X Border Collie.

When I think 'my dog' the first thing that comes to find is, lovable pet, the second is BUCKET OF ENERGY!!!

Even after two years, my GF (one of the reasons I bought one) still really enjoys playing with the AIBO. My AIBO is called Nutter, due to his behavour. Yes, they do like to be named, and will respond to their names (generally if they're in the mood to bother listening to you).

In the longer term, it's a lot cheaper than a real dog - and when you're with people who are allergic to dogs (That'll be both myself and my GF then), might make a bit more sense than a real dog. Obviously it's no direct substitute for a real dog, so it's not a great idea to compare the two!

I've found that first impressions tend to fall into two camps, that is: people who love 'em when they first meet them; and people who hate 'em when they first meet them.

My sister had one. I think she didn't pay it enough attention as it walked off the end of a table and died/broke.

I'm pretty sure that they aren't supposed to do that though.

I think she's wistfully thinking of a dual Opteron workstation too, but I'm not about to buy one!

You've got a geek girl? <=\

You must spend your lives correcting eachother and having technology arguments. At least she likes AMD, thats a start.
