the mobo has 6 USB on the back 2 on top and 2 firewire
and how much of a preformance decrease are we talking about?

Those shortened slots are just the same...but shorter.
You can use cards with the short slots on a normal longer slot still though.

Dude, why 4x512mb?
Makes more sense to opt for 2x1GB, as this leaves more room for expansion.

for some reason it's not working... All the cables are connected correctly.
I called ultra tech support they say they think the mobo or something on it's is faulty. I'll see if I can fix t.

I fixed it!!!!!! IT ddin't take that long the ATX power cable was pressing against aother one at a bad angle.
I'm going to put UV llights and do the software I post the pics later.

errr... I need your guys help I finnaly got the motherboard working and I have the load screen.
WHile I was at school my dad went on and skiped the setup whihc I needed to boot from floppy to allow the HDD to work... any way yo get back to setup I'm not sure how. also the softwares not in yet it took us 3 hours to figure out the processors was being pused out by the fan.

I just have to boot from floppy whihc forsome reason isn't wokring its not detecting the floppy.I need to boot from the floppy due to the mobo. then I it will al be easier.

There *should* be an option to tell the bios the boot order you want - just set that to boot from the floppy before the CDROM or HDD

Also : which case is that? Its niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

Is that four sticks of RAM I see in there? The DFI Lanparty is a Nforce4 based motherboard, isnt it?

I thought that running 4 sticks of RAM at once in an nforce 4 board has serious performance implications...?
