it comes out as $1200 so do you think buying thier sytem is better or builing the custom built one. (He's not paying me to help him build it )

Don't try to build one. Your talking a Lambo here. You cannot mess around with the interior and technicals of a supercar like you can an ordinary car.
I really, strongly advise against this.
No, really. Don't.

If he can afford a Lambo Gallallardo, SE or not, at high school....he should be able to afford the Lambo fitted system. Unless its a kit car....

That's what I'm thinking. There's too much money somewhere. No kids should be driving £100K supercars.
Let alone hacking them to peices.

Why would anyone be gaming in a car? Does he really need that 7800GT? Good price though. And I don't think you need a dual core, much less a hot, power consuming Intel one.

he's rich (goes without saying) and we wouldn't rip out the sytemwe would place the tower in the back and place a location free TV in front. SO were not braking the car apart. The loction free would prlace the slot for the $1200 in the front. ALso he has a GPS that connects with a USB.

If your friend has half of a brain, he'll order the computer that comes with the car. Like $1200 means something in a $200,000 car?

I hain't never seen a Lamborghini in Seattle. Ferrari's are rare, and I saw one Maserati(sp?) eighteen years ago. Guess we just aren't a millionaire's playground. Why not? You can't top our weather.

I'm in Edmonton, and ferarri is about the only rare car to see, but there are a few around. Haven't seen a Gallardo, but there are a few other lambo's in town here...probably owned by one of the hockey players. That's what you are missing, Cloasters, is a few sports teams!

You know i looked at interior pics of this car and i dont even see where you are gonna put a rig like that, let alone a monitor in the front. It already has a small monitor built in the dash, but there is not any room for anything else unless you rip something up, and that would be a SIN in a car like that. When you are in a car like this you are meant to be enjoying THE CAR, not worrying about a computer...i swear some people have more money than they have brains. After a little more research into this , the onboard computer is a TRIP computer, for traveling, not for gaming, so there is no room for what you are building.......good luck on messing up the interior of a nice car.

As King says in Platoon, the rich sh_t on us poor.
They always have and always will.

I'm sorry but my sincere opinion on this is it is both stupid and brainless. It's utterly ridiculous. If you had a stretch limosine to mess around with - I'd be happy to help.
But trying to install a PC in a Lamborghini is extremely silly.

How will you power the PC? It's requires different pwoer then the power the car battery will supply.
And you say the back? What back? The Gallardo has two seats. That's it. There is NO back. The only space is in the front bay. To get wires etc through that, you'd need to hack at something to make a hole. The only back space is literally a few centimetres behind the seats.

What really annoys me is you come on here, ask for advice. Then when we give it to you, you ignore us. So what was the point in asking for the advice?

http://www.sportscartesting.com/news...e/id595/pg3265
http://carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/porta...opDefault.aspx

I am a great lover of cars. I adore them. Hell, I even worship some. I know what goes into making these Italian cars. More effort and work then you know. They are handbuilt, they are knocked up with hammer and metal, they are engineered precisely to an exact specification.
They are elegant, passionate, beautiful cars. They are not for kids. They are not supposed to be edited, changed, altered. To see someone do such a thing always makes me feel vaguely....sick. It shows a complete lack of respect for the vehicle and what's gone into it.

Please, if your friend has a sudden desire to play games in his Lambo, get a Laptop.
