My mouse has a small reset button on its underside. The receiver has one as well. Need to press them both at the same time or near enough the same time. They should then hunt for each other.

I'd unplug it, restart and plug it back in (With a regular mouse attached) just to see if it's detected. You can also check in device manager to see if it's detected. I THINK the mouse should be detected irregardless of comunication between mouse and wireless reciever? You need a way to decide if this is a hardware or software issue. I'd make sure USB legacy support was enabled in bios and maybe boot to a linux Knoppix live boot CD (I have found these to be really handy for testing hardware) Knoppix or a system partition utility that supports mice. Just a few thoughts, hope you find them helpfull. ![]()

| Indeed, check in the device manager that the USB device is actually detected! Technically, there's no such thing as "corporate edition" - it is precisely the same as XP Pro without the activation.
