ddr3

what would the difference be in performance between a 128mb video card or a 256mb card. in my case its between the agp 6600gt at 128 or the 6600gtx (or next best card or something) at 256?

256mb card will cope with AA better than the 128mb but always go for the card with ddr3 ram it is much faster.

The 6600GT is the card to get. A leadtek 6800LE would be even better mind you, and not much more expensive.

All the cards in this range are at the point where AA isn't much of an option past 2X or Quincunx.

I read somewhere that it helps with the extra storage of the multipul frames which need to be drawn for ''AA'' or so I've been led to believe!

looks for a 6800GS there getting cheap as nvidia's phasing out the 6 series, like I've said I've seen them going for as low as $70.
