Yippee finished putting together the new system.. :)

This is my first completely new system in a while so have post about it! It should keep me happy for a little while .

Antec P180B Case

Opteron 165

2 x 1 GB OCZ Performance

Epox EP-9NPA+ SLi

PC Power & Cooling 510 SLI

eVGA 7900GT KO 256MB

NEC 16X DVD+R DVD Burner

Zalman CNPS9500 CPU Heatsink/Fan

Primary Drive - 160gb Maxtor DiamondMax 9 SATA w/ 8mb Cache (Freshly
RMAd hopefully it lasts as long as the prior one)

Secondary Drive - 320gb Western Digital SATA w/ 16mb Cache

Creative SoundBlaster X-FI OEM

Scored the memory, processor, sound card & power supply off of message forums.. the power supply for $140, the memory for $120, and the processor for $240 so I think I got some pretty nice deals there The rest of the stuff I got from good ol newegg.

Installing Windows XP as we speak =) Can'tttt wait til it's done. Will try and get pics after I get everything software wise set up.

That's a really nice system you've got there Nate-X, have fun with it. Did you get the NEC N-3550A DVD-Rewriter? might be a bit expensive to leave it folding alot but i'm sure Chris Bard will disagree with me. Can't wait for some pics.

Yep that I did Heheh I had 3 systems in here folding.. That 3rd system is gone and the Opty is here =) Shouldn't be much more than the other system eh? Yep I got the 3550A.. Couldn't beat the price =) Was going to get a lightscribe burner but heard you had to get special media which wasn't cheap for it.. and I love my cheap ridatas too much lol.
