My monitor is going out

Well my KDE monitor that I've had back since I was with the faceless wonder (at least 5 years) is on the fritz. I'm pretty sure the problems I'm having are heat related but non the less it's time for a new one. I'm looking at LCD's but not sure what to go with. I know I want AT LEAST a 19" and have a budget of $250 max (a little more if I get something bigger) I've been to Costco's site and had a look at what they have to offer. I'm having a little trouble making my choice and want some of your guys' input.

What do ya think of the one's here.
Thanks for your input.

sorry, forgot to mention that I'm not limited to just Costco. If you know of another site please by all means.... POST!

What resolution are you looking for? All of the 19" LCDs in the price range you are looking at will probably be 1280x1024 or 1440x900.

If you are happy at the resolution, then that's fine. I just wanted to point that out so that you wouldn't get caught thinking it gave you more pixels than it does. For ME, I won't shell out for a 19" monitor that won't do at least 1600x1200.

Well I run a 17" now. Larger screen will probably call for a higher rez for me. I didn't think about that. Thanks for pointing that out.

You should be able to pick up a cheap 20" 1600x1200 for about $300 (damm forum member, you give them a max budget and they always spend more.)

Robbie, I found a great deal here on my CRT. It might be worth a look.

This looks like a good one. And at a good price too. It doesn't have a fancy base with USB ports or hieght adjustments and it doesn't come with a DVi cable. But it should have a good screen with good picture quality.

You can also get the DVI cable there while your at it.
