Reliable, however not ridiculously powerful Power Supply

My Dads PSU seems to be playing up, he's getting lots of random reboots and complete system freezes. I've run Prime95 for several hours, and memtest for a while too, and both are fine, so I believe his PSU needs replacing.

I'd like to get a half decent one, something reliable that wont need replacing, but his PC isn't a powerhouse, I'm not looking for a billion watt unit with hundreds of features, just something reliable. Realistically 400w is the upper end of anything he'll need, even my system doesn't use that much juice.

So, what does everyone recommend?

18A of the 12v line, but if his machine isnt that demanding...why not this.

Couldnt agree with laz anymore! Get a nice Tagan, ive built about 10 machines with Tagan PSUs and all have proved reliable! Plus their very quite and the lower wattage models are very competitively priced!

I Own the Tagan 2 Force T530-U22 ... possibly the best PSU ive ever bought¬!

My computer has also been playing up recently with random lock ups and blue screening, also i get the random restarts. I put this down to a dodgy PSU since i just got another HDD and DVD-ROM drive. So a Tagan looks good to me http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=308883 Any good?

Yeah thats the lower power version of mine¬ should be more that powerful enough for your system... plus youll benefit from a much quieter powersupply as the 2Force series adjust their fan speed according to temps.
