Don't know where to put this.. I need 99% pure isopropyl..

Been looking for this stuff online. Looking for pure so that I can use it to clean components and stuff like that. The only place that I've found that says it has 'pure' isopropyl is..

http://secure.sciencecompany.com/Iso...16071C670.aspx

There's gotta be some place cheaper! =)

I use regular 70% isopropy from Wal-Mart. Works just fine. Why do you need 'pure'?

You can get 96% alcohol at most stores for cheap. I use it on components all the time. You don't need pure to clean components.

I get 99% iso from the drugstore(have to ask pharmasist for it), or from hydroponic stores, mind you hydroponic stores tend to have a bit larger quantity than you need.

Using 70% tends to leave a slight film...so I use the 99%.

I stopped using ISo when i had none...and i found that simply wiping the paste off with a dust-free cloth gave me lower temps...must have been leaving thermal paste in deep grooves that would take some time for the paste to settle into when fresh and clean surface coated.

They say some of the alcohols tend to leave a filmo on whatever you clean it with.. so figure I would go with what they recommend.
