How do you disable the ability to use a cd/rw?

I still want the user to be able to use it as a cd drive but don't want to give them the ability to actually copy to cd. What would be the easiest way to assomplish this? something in group policies? simple registry change?

Found something... http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/979/

Too bad I can't delete the post.. bleargh.. at least this may help someone else in their nocdburning endeavors =P

That will stop the builtin XP CD writer, but will not prevent any other software from using the driver to burn CDs. That's probably what you were after though!

As long as they have restricted rights for installing new software to use it will work....
