Got x1950xt (PSU question)
Hi - I'm getting HIS X1950XT VideoCard and my question is - will my PSU be able to run it ?
PSU : Enermax Noisetaker 485W total 32A on dual 12V rail
Will that be enough ???

I got AMD 64 3700+ San Diego @ 2.2
1Gb Mem
85GB 7200RPM HardDisk
some cathode lights
1x 12mm fan , 4x80mm fans

Any other maker and I would say maybe not...You should be OK though.

1 HDD and only a few fans.

What about optical drives?

It's DVD CD ROM/Burner
only one

I just wanna make sure I won't underpower the card or burn the PSU or something...

IF the card is underpowered you'll notice crashes while running 3d. With your cpu @ stock, I'm sure that there would be no worries, but if you overclock it, it's power consumption may increase, and negatively affect your system's stability. That being said 485w should be ok, but maybe not. Always safe to go to the ATI site and check your PSU for compatibility.
