| hey captain, well before this casing - i had a thermaltake shark casing - which i was trying to mod by cutting out a tribal design on the top panel and placing a mesh window. after that i was gna paint it dark metallic red with black tribal design on one of the side panels. but then i messed up the cutting portion. the edges became to jagged. as a moder yourself how would u overcome those edges, or wats the best way to cut the panel?

| hm, i like using my dremel for cutting shapes, if yer doing a circle or any other odd shape, relief cuts are your friend. meaning cut from the middle of the hole to the outside to make smaller spaces of scrap. and if you messed your design up, then i'd just think of a new design that the cut space would cover the old hole. if it's just a matter of jagged edges a file can be decent to take of some material. or if it's more jagged like a serrated knife i'd just run a grinder/cutter wheel along it with a steady hand till smooth. |

That and if your thinking of oc'ing(which by posting here I know you are) you might want to invest in a good cpu cooler and some fans....

| hey hector - i just purchased a scythe infinity cooler which sits a 120mm fan. i also have 2 extra 120mm fans.1 for hds and 1 rear. am thinking of buying extra clips to be able to add 2 120mm to my scythe infity cooler. and the thing is....i live in melb aust, with winter coming up im pretty sure components will sstay cool...i will only Oc if i find slowness in the system otherwise shud be fine. with my prev setup AMD 4200+ x2 / asus a8n32-sli / mushkin 2gb ram ... i was able to push it to 2.5ghz...and was stable...
