Thank you for posting the link to this review, Samuknow! We'll all be in the market for a big PSU soon enough. I remember when the jump to 350W from 300W was considered a leap.

Maybe someday the computer industry will turn it's focus to making parts that do more work on less energy. I'd love to see a product come out that had a 10% increase in power while using the same amount energy as the last gen stuff. Wouldn't matter I guess, they would just change the connector and make you buy a new power supply anyway.

Exactly! The "smallening" of CPU's does make them less power hungry. Seems like we're the ones insisting on more power. Smaller die size for the proc, make up for it with two power grabbing GPU's.
