SilverStone, the premier maker of awesome (and awesome-looking) computer cases, has come out with another hard drive enclosure. This time, though, it’s not JUST a simple enclosure. It’s more like an enclosure that pimps out the enclosed hard drive to up to 30 computers. Still not following? Okay, let me put it simple: It’s an NAS, which stands for “Network Attached Storage.”

Impressive! I'll keep it in mind if I ever have a 6 to 30 PC network.

I think where this would have the greatest utility is if you are building a home media system: a home theater in one room, and maybe a stereo system in a couple of the bedrooms for the kids or something like that. Put a media PC in each of the rooms, hook it back to the central NAS for storage, and rock-n-roll.
