| thats odd, under monitor properties is 'hide modes that my monitor cant display' checked ? If all else fails try using powerstrip for setting custom resolutions / forcing things through |

| When I untick 'hide modes my monitor can't display'. I can select 1280x768. But: The VGA outputs at that res. yet the monitor remains at 1024x768 (it flashes up in the bottom right the res when you change it, its locked at 1024x768 though) it makes it come out blurry, but at the correct aspect ratio. |
