People are already using USB DVB-T tuners with their PS3s under Linux, but I guess it would be cool to have it under the PS3 OS.

What I'd like is actually a Video-In function to allow the PS3 to operate as a PVR, so I could connect my foxtel cable TV box to it, and record all my favourites (ER, Cops, and Reno 911).

As far as PSP GPS goes, its purely for wank factor, as a non-touchscreen device with no keyboard will be a PITA to use. I'll buy one when it comes out in Australia mind you, because I do silly stuff like that, but it will be utterly useless.

I think the official sony tuner will allow you to stream TV to your PC, using wireless. No idea if that can be done under Linux?

For me, the lack of touch screen on GPS, is not a major issue. At least the display is far better than any cheap GPS units.

I think you can buy an add-on that fits over the top and turns it into a touch screen. It atatches via the USB...

No map for where I live, in the Channel Islands. Thanks, to TeleAtlas not being arsed to sort it out. TeleAtlas being the map provider for the PSP.

Might be able to use Map This homebrew, which uses Google Maps.
