We never had our current problems, when broken stuff got repaired, instead of binned (or recycled if that makes you feel better about it).

The total value of all "broken" mobile phones in the world is huge. We must be talking billions of dollars.

I mean the cell phones which are gathering dust in a drawer, but can be very easily repaired.
