| I wouldn't claim to understand how it all works, it's extremely complicated. But, if it was running folding@home, it would complete a work unit in a single blink of the eye. ![]()

| Are you kidding? It would complete ALL of the work units in a single blink of the eye! LOL

| I've done a bit of research on quantum computing and it's pretty cool... It's nothing like computing as we know it at all, but a whole different level... Check out this pick of what one of these computers looks like... A bit about Quantum computers and how they work... Howstuffworks "Qubits and Defining the Quantum Computer" Quick comparison of our computers and a Quantum computer...the diff in processing power. According to physicist David Deutsch, this parallelism allows a quantum computer to work on a million computations at once, while your desktop PC works on one. A 30-qubit quantum computer would equal the processing power of a conventional computer that could run at 10 teraflops (trillions of floating-point operations per second). Today's typical desktop computers run at speeds measured in gigaflops (billions of floating-point operations per second).

| That's not tape, cloasters. It's Quantum Essence Damping (Q.E.D. (tm) (patent applied for)). ![]()

| Ok, nobody get upset, I'm new to Quantum Computing! But would it take 9 mountains and 2 plains...in a pinch...if things were slow in the multiverse?

| You've just saved me a fair piece of change spent on R&D! (If only I could accept his answer!)
