SCSI drives

In my travels in the last month, I became the prould owner of a matched pair of Seagate 4g SCSI HDD's. Yesterday I got a adapter and hooked them up in my machine. After a lot of trial & error, (while my partitioning programs recognised them, they refused to work with then!) I got them formated NTSF and striped.
Now what do I do with them? I've got 120g in my 2400+, I don't need them there. Should I use them alone in a folding rig and if so, how? Bios is a problem with them.

To be honest, if they're 4GB SCSI drives, then they're pretty much towards the end of their life. Performance isn't going to be good (IE, most modern IDE drives will outperform them), but that isn't a big deal in a folding box.

A host bus adaptor (HBA)with a BIOS would be helpful if you want to boot from them though! HBAs without a BIOS tend to be designed to operate devices like CDROM drives, where there isn't a requirement for the BIOS.

Sounds like I spent A $1.95 to satisfy my curiosity (they had some bodies collection of Japoneese porn on them!) to put the drives, the card, and the cable into a box where they will sit for 5yrs or so untill I throw them away! OOH Happy days LOL

To be honest, that's pretty much what I would do too...
