These make good sense for laptops. Wonder if someone will build 3.5 inch ones soon? Shuh, it's the form factor, not the size that's important.

Interesting thing about SSDs, though. Apparently they not only DON'T consume less power than conventional hard drives, they actually can consume MORE under certain conditions, according to Tom's Hardware.

This directly contradicts a lot of marketing hype that is out there; for example, Super Talent claim that their SSDs consume up to 95% less power than standard hard drives.

'Twould be interesting to see how the test results are arrived at for someone like Super Talent.
