Took me a bit of time running the test & attaching the screenshots so by the time I was done & posted my answer, you'd already posted yours just before I did!
(Look at the posting times)

If you have a fast Second HD move your Pagefile (Virtual memory) over to the front part of it. Make sure to totally remove the pagefile from your OS partition all together as it will be on the second drive & no longer needed.

This will do 2 things.

1. Reduce the wear & tear on the OS HD by not having to go back & forth between the program & pagefile accessing data!

2. Will speed up the access times because it doesn't have to do the above fore mentioned.

Btw, I want to see your HD speed results readout!!!

Everthing is all achidemic. I'm running bare bones here on the Athlon 750 and a clean install of XP. No frills. Just enought to get by untill the new board gets here when the whole setup will change. I've just installed Acronis so I can partition my 80g the way I want. I moved all my music to my 40g-need to decide what else to move and how to devide things up. Want all drives clean, set up and ready when the board gets here. Put the board in, boot up, Install Xp, and away we go. That is the plan!
Murphys' law not with standing. Back to your request-i don't have the software installed to do that for you. LOL

Take up a collection. Lets see, roughly $100 should do it. A pair of 500gb for a raid installation and that should do it. Post agian when you've got it. See ya!!!!! lol

With the exception of SATA2 drives with jumpers to allow them to run on SATA1 motherboards. The jumper simply limits them to 1.5Gb/s.
