external enclosure for more then one hdd

ok first thing

hello again, i have not been on here for an age

been too busy ageing, working and have been spending my time fetteling with exhausts and carbs more then pcs of late

but but

i need more space, and feeling unconnected from the world of pcs for a while i thought i would ask for opinions

can i get a (non ripoff expensive) enclosure that will hold 2 or more internal drives

just usb plug and play and you see 2 more hdd's

or is that a pipe dream and i should just buy some external drives

would like a TB ideally, or 2 if i can get a dual drive thing. its for more space and backup as more and more and more of my stuff is only in the digital relm, but im not too fussed for raid, would be nice i spose (mirrored) but only if its not overly expensive

penny for your thoughs

chears in advance

ps hows have all you people been, good i hope

You can get one. Netgear has a series that allows up to four hard drives which you can RAID together.

AFAIK, thats as close as you can get. They however, are not cheap.

IcyDock makes some enclosures that are pretty nice. NewEgg lists the 2-bay USB+FireWire at $185.
