It's an RGB LED backlight LCD display, rather than an RGB LED display...

RGB LED displays are those you tend to find outdoors, and have large screen sizes - like 6m x 3m - they're often used for advertising.

I think the most notable feature of the screen is that it can get close to the full Adobe RGB colour gamut, rather than the not so wide sRGB.

I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!
